Hi, I’m Dj Kevin and I’m going to tell you a little bit about myself:
I’m from the Canary Islands, Tenerife to be more specific and I started in rock and roll in my early 20’s around 2015. After going to parties around the island I took the leap of going to Calella for a festival and that’s where my passion for vinyl and rock and roll really woke up!
All that rock and roll atmosphere and enjoyment got into me and to this day it hasn’t left me, it was the main reason why I started collecting records and DJing in my area a couple of years later.
As for me as a DJ I am a true lover of 45s and rock and roll from the 50s and 60s but I also have a special affection for the sounds of the 60s and Rockabilly in its purest form, as well as being a big fan of R&B among other styles. I’ve been DJing for many years and I’ve been part of the Vulcan Rockers festival in Tenerife where I’ve been moving around a lot and now I’m starting to move around the peninsula, always in good company! Undoubtedly my main idea when DJing is that people have a good time and have fun on the dance floor, as much as I do playing my records and watching them enjoy!
Right now I’m very excited and happy to be part of this new edition of Blues at moonlight, and I’m looking forward to November!
