Danny del Toro, endorser of the harmonica brand Seydel, since he started playing the harmonica, he has played different musical styles such as blues, jazz, ragtime… Danny is a versatile harmonica player who can play both acoustic and electric. His sound can be appreciated in his personal discography as well as in his various collaborations with internationally renowned artists. He also has a long trajectory in the didactics of the instrument since he has been part of different harmonica camps and successfully performed different Masterclasses in international festivals all over Europe.
In 2007 he decided to live the American adventure where he managed to make a place for himself in renowned clubs such as Buddy Guy’s Legends, Rosa’s Lounge and Artist, sharing the stage with James Wheeler, Billy Branch, Nelly Travis and …..
In 2010 his restlessness for the blues took him to London, where he met and later collaborated with the band 24 Pesos led by Julian Burdock with whom he has recorded a duo album in 2014 entitled “Double Dare”.
In 2015 he founded his band in Sweden called Del Toro Blues Band with which he tours the best clubs in the Scandinavian country and European f estivals. The repertoire is made up of covers and own songs composed by Danny del Toro in which he covers various styles of black music from Chicago blues, West coast, Country blues…. In Summer 2018 he released the Del Toro Blues Band album entitled Drunk Karaoke, recorded in Stockholm.
They also act as a base band for international artists on their tours in Spain and Europe which makes this formation a solid and greased ensemble. Julian Burdock, Jonn del Toro, Little G Weevil, Terry Harmonica Bean, Alvon Johnson, Marco Cinelli and many more are some of the musicians who have shared the stage with Del Toro Blues Band.
A selection of these artists take place on his studio album Bad Beat available since February 2017.
In 2019 Together with Marco Cinelli they record Delta Overflowin’. Twelve original songs that cover all the sticks of American music in which both Marco and Danny leave proof of their affection and respect for the genre.
